i have rebuilt my heater control valve, and have brand new heater core, but still have heat coming in the car. does anybody know why this is happening?

thanks, craig.

Have you rebuilt the entire heater box?

A/C Car?

Yes, i went completely through it, but still getting heat, when the heater is off. i havent had the air charged yet, but unless i get this problem fixed first, i dont think the a/c will be very cold. wondering, if i should  put a cutoff in the heater hose somewhere?

I could be wrong about this, but I think that even with the heater off, there is some radiant heat because hot fluid is still circulating through the firewall.  Getting an inline bypass valve or bypassing the heater core altogether with a hose should cure that.

I THINK I WILL JUST TAKE BOTH MY HEATER HOSES, AND PUT THEM ON THE HEATER CONTROL VALVE, UNTIL SUMMER IS OVER, THAT WAY, THERE WILL NOT ANY WATER BE GOING TO THE  HEATER CORE, AT ALL, SO NO HEAT.
