73 Upper - Lower Ball Joint ID

  I have run into a problem when changing my Ball Joints on my 73 . The boxes they came in were destroyed . They are both threaded .
Is there any way to tell Upper from Lower ?

On my 74, and every other 73-74 Ive owned, uppers are threaded. Lowers are a press fit.

In 73 , Uppers and Lowers are both threaded . Late 73 I believe was changed over to press fit . Unless you had a Control arm that the threads were damaged . Then the fix was a press fit ball joint .  I figured it out . Thanks anyway .
