Getting ready to start replacement of trunk.   There are three brackets at the back of the trunk.  Two look like they connect the floor to the valance and the other is the trunk latch support.   Do you have to drill these out or can the floor slide under them without removal?

The two that are connected to the valence and floor I found easier to remove completely with a spot weld cutter; for the trunk lock support, I used the spot weld cutter where the support met the floor and left it in place. I did do a full factory trunk floor and was able to lift the support enough to slide the trunk in from where the valence once was. I have many pictures and much more information on the '70 registry.
