Hey guys.. I have my 426 Hemi that I'm putting back together. This was a bare block when I first started with it. I have to put the dowel pins in but don't have a block here at the house to reference and don't want to assume the locations are the same for a 440.... Pics would be helpful..

Thanks..

i seen photos of your deck on the moparts board and was wondering what pistons you were using?

i was just wondering. i bought a set of wiesco true 10.1 compression and they were about .500 above the deck and when i compared them to a set of 1970 stock 4.25 bore 10.25 compression pistons the dome on the wiesco pistons were almost double what the 1970 pistons were.

a fellow on moparts did a fill test on a set just like the ones i have and came up with 11.5-1. :shruggy:
