Cut some holes in the hood and have the pipes come straight up, like those tractors you see in tractor pulls.  That would look really cool and you could see the flames when you hit the throttle.

 My self, I don't like side pipes on any but a Vet. Don't like Vet's much either ;)

JC Whintey carry what you are talking about. Thet are called Zoomies. Have not seen them for ever, where used a lot on custom van's in the 80's.

This is my friend Paul's car! A '68 Cuda notchback with a 440 and a A-833 4 speed tranny, and 3.23 sure grip!

 Drache, I think that say's it all. Matter of taste, or lack of it. Not trying to be a Chevy Head either. But I would look at that car at a stop light and think to my self "Dead Meat"!

Jacked up in the back = poor weight transfer
Loud exhaust = no motor
Flash = no power

Cannot count the number of car's I beat into the dirt that looked like that when I was a street racer. I loved the idiots that has schakels as well. No traction no action.

                  Oh, the good old days, when I could hook up. Cuda Ken being a Chevy wipe again.

I vote neither as well.  However, I do think it would be awesome if somebody did up a charger like an old gasser.  Straight axle front, moon tank, torq-thrusts, some type of dumps before the doors, and 8 injector stacks through the hood. :D

For a car Cudaken that cost him I think only a few thousand dollars it goes pretty good. I believe it even has the line lock system on it still. The owner before my friend ran a stock 440 4-bbl and a 4spd and did 14s while racing which isn't all that good but for a "stock" car....
