Was fast forwarding thru Mecum's Fri night lineup, this was a great looking color combo, the EE-1 with white int !!!And must say, looked great without a vinyl top.NTM,that looked to be a pretty good deal on the car. :yesnod:

Awesome!!

My car was/is EE-1  Have been debating painting it back to the stock color. I think I will, I don't see many examples of EE-1 floating around.
JUNKTRAVELER: all I've seen in this thread is a bunch of bullies and 3 guys that actually give a crap.

What's with the wrong radiator? While it looks very nice in the pictures, I think the selling price is an indication of the level of quality.

No way Jose.

All 66-71 street Hemis had the upper radiator hose on the passenger's side.

I've been around hemi cars for 35 years and I've never seen a 22" radiator Hemi car.  Does that mean I know everyhting?  I'm sure I don't, but a 22" radiator and an 8 3/4 rear with a 4 speed?  I don't think so.  This car was advertised as a "68 Charger R/T".  In the description it says .."with a 426 hemi.  Never says "original Hemi car", like every car that IS original says in the description.  From my perspective I suspect a car that was not advertised in the clearest language and possibly a buyer swept up in auction fever.

Where was this buyer when it took me 2 1/2 years to sell my REAL 4 speed 68 Hemi Charger and I ended up taking $64K for it?

charger Downunder

To put in the bigger radiator wouldnt you have to change the front panel to the bigger opening one.

fc7_plumcrazy

a Hemi automatic car with no performance axle package (meaning 8 3/4 rearend with 3,23 gears) should have a 22" radiator

Mine has the original radiator. It also has an 8 3/4 rear 727auto, and 3.23 rearend with suregrip. Yep, it is a 26" radiator. Never seen a second gen Hemicar with a 22" radiator.
