Discount Tire would be a good choice for tires if you have one in your area

The trains can be reborn and your experience with an elaborate setup could make a great new setup when the time comes.

I'd say pack them well and make the decision to part with them in a year or two. Or when your your housing situation becomes more predictable.

It's time to get lumpy loping again. :2thumbs:

Keep the trains and enjoy Miss Lumpy for now!

Update for everyone, the parts have been ordered and will be headed Ken's way!  I'm glad to have helped such a great group of people help someone out of sheer kindness.

Sorry I was a little late to the game with sending in my money but had something come up.  There should be a little extra there and if you need anything else for the car please use that money accordingly!

We have a warm front coming! Tuesday high will be 32 and Friday 36 degrees!   Well that is still way to cold  :-\ But might get her started and burn off some gas!

Train Stuff I was not thinking of getting rid of it all, just need to thin the heard. While Jim visited he did not see all the train gear I have!   Under the bench work there even more stuff. I will need room to work.

Ted, did Rock Auto give you a tracking number? Be nice for the folks that helped could track the tank.

Next big thing will be getting the garage door to go up and down reliably.

Well it was a busy day today. Left the house around 11:30 AM and did not get home till 4:00 PM. Went to St Louis, then the Library, trash run, Bank, Hair Cut (need that badly I was looking like a Hippey want to be) grocery store, dug store and then U Haul  and bought bubble wrap and boxes to store the train stuff in.

By the time I got home I was bushed! While I was taking the grocery's in, a Fed X truck pulled up?   :scratchchin: They dropped this off.  :D

I wounder what might be in the boxes?  :shruggy:

Wife would not let me open the boxes in the living room because it might have oil on it. I need to make room in the garage, then I will open the boxes and take some pictures!

Now, who is going to send the Dodge Charger decal for the gas tank?

Thanks again folks, you are the best!  :notworthy:

Ken,

I wouldn't call us the best, just a bunch of guys/gals helping other car guys/gals out.  One big happy disfunctional extended family.  :smilielol:

Let's see a pic of that new tank.   :popcrn:  I would have thought that 10 year old in you would have it out of the box and in the car by now ;)

cudaken

Stoker, the tank is in the box, reason why?  :shruggy: Still no places to put it in the garage.  :brickwall: While there is room to walk around, no places safely to store the tank. I sure the heck don't want to stumble and smash it with my fat ass!  :brickwall:

Reason it is not in Miss Lumpy is it is just plan to cold to work on her outside right now! I am off Friday and hope to haul some junk to the dumpster at Bob's. So I should be able to open it and take some pictures Friday. :icon_smile_big:

I did start packing up some of the HO train rolling stock today. Seems the boxes I bought will work well. Looks like each box will hold around 40 cars. Problem lies in the time it take to wrap a train car. Bubble wrap is proving to be a Chevy and taping it shut is being a Ford! :brickwall: It took a half hour to wrap 8 cars? That only leaves 342 more train cars to go!  :scratchchin: Then there are around 45 train engines, most of them I still have the box for so that should only take a hour or two.  ;D  I do have some ideas on how to stream line the operation so I will get quicker I hope.

I wish I had a full day Friday, but I have a appointment to see a Hand Surgeon. My left hand is Chevy Upped and it will take surgery to correct it. I wonder how long it will take to get it working right again?  :scratchchin:

Wife just told me some guy came by today to buy Miss Lumpy? He was told by someone he could buy it for $5000.00 and that was a good prices for a Car that does not run. Wife told him "You tell him this Friday while he is driving it around the block on his day off"! It is not for sale!  :D

Ken, it's good to see she hasn't gotten upset enough to kill you and is defending Miss Lumpy!

I hope all goes well with the hand, I am waiting word from my ortho surgeon about knee surgery in Jan., which will make for surgery #4 on that knee.    :P

I agree Ken.  Glad to see the wife isn't too quick to be digging a shallow grave in your back yard and having the car move to a new owner!  Looks like you picked a keeper there!  (and the wife sounds nice too!)     :nana:
