And I am still tasting gas when I belch! :eek2:

Never tasted gas myself, but if I was there I'd probably try to coax you into lighting a match & belching to see if you can shoot flames.   :smilielol:

I think it's great you got your old car running, it gives me some motivation to stay off the scaffold on my house & head into the garage & finish a project I started a couple of years ago.   ::)

Bruce, glad I helped a little. You are only a year behind me with your last drive being in 1994. Heck, it has taken me 8 years just to go a quarter mile! I wonder what the 60 foot time would be?  :scratchchin: By the way Bruce, I just finished We Where Ramchargers  :2thumbs: I will be reading it again!

Old Moparz, what is your project?  :popcrn:

Far as inspiration, you folks have really helped me with that! Part of it has been the pat's on the back. Put I wanted to post some up dated pictures for your folks enjoyment. Plus there is the bride side as well.

OK Allen, I will bite! What is a catBQ? :scratchchin: Far as taking her of my housing area for now, only on a flatbed! Heck, I won't even take her out of the driveway unless some is here to help me get her back into it! Yes I love her, but sure in the heck don't trust her yet! Before I even took her around the block I asked Jim if he could use is truck to push it back if he had to! :smilielol:

Thanks all again, Cuda Ken

Old Moparz, what is your project?  :popcrn:

My current project is to manage too many projects.

But the one I am trying to get done first is my '71 Scamp. I started out doing a rear end swap scrapping the 7-1/4" for an 8-3/4" & got into a few other things with it. The rear is rebuilt with a new sure grip unit, the custom springs I had made were disassembled, cleaned, painted & now ready to go in. I got all the new shackles & hardware, cleaned up & painted the housing, the same with the underside of the chassis, the gas tank with only a small area left to do.

Also bought all new stainless brake lines, fittings & brackets since the old lines were shot & were for the 7-1/4" rear. Once I have the rear in the car I'll double check the measurement to get the drive shaft cut. The goal at the moment is to at least have the car assembled so I can at least get it to move under it's own power & off the lift. The engine developed an oil leak just before I took the rear out & I think it's the rear main seal. I'll worry about it later.

Of course driving it will be fun, but the open headers are a bit mangled from running 14" wheels, low profile tires & a small block. It has 15" wheels now & taller tires & I need to install the 340 exhaust manifolds I got so a new exhaust system can go in. I disassembled the bench seat & took the old cover off a few weeks ago & need to get the new cover on.

My house needed so much work I haven't touched the car in 2 years.   ::)

Is it Bud or Nick? Either way thanks for following my miss adventures! It will be nice when I have the confidences to drive around the block with out a chase vehicle or a fire extinguisher!

Hot than heck today so I did no work on the Road Runner. When it cools down maybe?

Bob, a friend that owns a shop did take 6 liters of the fowl brew that came out of the gas tank. He will take the rest of it when his oil is picked up.

Jim and Allen, I am off again this Friday. Any chances you guys might have time to stop by?
