it  was nice talking to you too. glad you found a tire.  I think mopar performance? has the adapter to put a 440 dist in a 383, but not sure. I've got about 4 distributors and an aftermarket box. all you would need would be a pigtail for the box, ballast resister and whatever else.  let me know, i'll just send them to you. hope it all works out.   later,  bruce

Well, almost done with musical cars,  I have lifted the 70 Challenger up to get the Dart under it, moved the dart from the attached garage.  Moved the 09 Challenger from the garage across the street to the attached garage.  The garage across the street is ready for cudaken's RR.  We are supposed to move it Sunday and could use any help we can get, to load it on and off the trailer.

Man I am beat, had a early VA appointment and spent 5 hours there being checked out, X Ray and cut on. Hoping for some good news.

Dropped the gas tank off at Bob's to have a drain plug installed. Just in-case she sits again. All so bought some carb cleaner (pulling the bowels off) and penetrating spray for the stuck brake caliper. Then I had to mess with the wife's car, thought the battery was bad, just dirty cable ends.

Allen, can the Road Runner go in the backwards on the trailer? Would be a lot easier.

I don't like hauling them backwards. the weight is all wrong when you do. If it rolls we can push it around. I have come-a-longs and ratchets that will get it on the trailer.

I agree Jim, but doubt we would have any problem no further than we are going.

Spoke with Allen today, he will be at my house around noon. He is bring a couple of kids with him to help push. If Jim all so shows up I think we will get her on the trailer.

I wished I had been able to do some work on her before she gets moved. I have been feeling pretty bad of late fighting a kidney infection. Just got some antibiotic's from the VA today so I hope I start feeling better soon.

B5Blue, it will be nothing fancy, but I will post a picture.

Little Depressed right now. Last time I did not have a Mopar at the house was when I was 11 years old.  :-\ Well, she is out of the weather this winter so that is great!  :2thumbs: Plus I still have keys to the Mopad so if I have time I can go and fiddle with her.

Jim, good thing you showed up! (did not get the Primer The Jeep Joke) It was a bear getting her up on the trailer. I wish Jim had came to the Mopad, it was as hard getting her in the garage as it was on to the trailer.

B5Blue, I was going to say you can have my old tank, but you have a Charger right? Personal I think with a good cleaning my old one could be reused. It came from Year One about 12 years ago now.

If I drop off for awhile it will not be because I lost interest. I still have a ton of yard work to get done so Zoning will get off my ass.  :shruggy:

Allen, Jim, thank you both for being such good friends.

Thanks for the offer Ken. I'm a bit ahead of you on the curve so the new tank for me is for long term reliability, mine is original and seen better days but clean and patched. (Charger's tanks are different than other B Body I think.) At one point my Mopar went into storage and the assumed 1 year turned into many so I know how you feel. I can tell you it's in good hands and better off than just sitting outside. When I actually got busy on it again I came to realize by storing I'd halted the clock on damage that was starting to compound and grow. I found rust and rot that was hidden and growing, had I just left it outside somewhere, even covered no telling how bad it could have gotten. Like you for the situation I'd gotten into a bit of a pickle. Recently divorced the engine developed issues, the house I was renting was sold to be demoed and just after I moved I got full custody of my 3 kids. It's all good now, I'm back on top and calling the shots so don't loose faith! You will sort this all out in time!  :2thumbs:
