cudaken,  I really admire your resolve in getting Miss Lumpy going again!  It is a great looking Roadrunner and you will surely be successful getting her "growling" again! Better weather and better times are ahead!

Charger 69, personally I think some one should  :slap: me for letting her get in this way in the first places! All that was wrong with her was a fuel pump, hour repair at the most?

Ken,

Some of us have more time than others.  The fact that you keep plugging away at it says a lot!  Most people would have just thrown in the hat long ago (don't even think about it!) and put a for sale sign on it.  (again, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!)   :RantExplode:  You will get this going again with the help of your friends close by your home and your friends on here!  Stay the course my friend, Miss Lumpy will live once again!
Brian

Heck Brain, after the folks here chipped and bought Miss Lumpy the gas tank, I can't sell her! I be a smuck!

Allen, as you know, you are all wise welcomed! Would love to see you, and maybe we can drag Jim away form Foot Ball!  :scratchchin:

I am getting a little nerviest about the surgery Wednesday.  :shruggy: Have to be at the hospital at 6:00 AM, will be under the knife at 7:30 AM if the surgeon sober.

I just hope my hand will be flexible when he is done and the pain is not that bad. If you have not heard from me for a few day's, that will be the reason.

Boy it hurts, whole left hand is stiff. Don't think I will be out in the garage a lot for a few days. Drugs are pretty much screwing me up, feel like I have had 24 cans of  but not in a good way.

Allen, you are a funny man.

Well I thought I give you folks a little up date. Hand is still swollen, looks like a big plum chicken quarter. It is getting some of the flexibility back and I can use both hands to miss spell on the keyboard.  :2thumbs:

I can even hold a beer can in it now!  ;D I did go 4 day's with out any Cam 2 and I really did not miss it, so I guess I am not a drunk after all!  Belch

Far as Shaddy, well she is getting close to going to Rain Bow Bridge  :'( Thought we where going to lose her Saturday. My daughter came over and Shaddy all wises goes nuts when she does. At one point she could not stand up, and hardly breath. Got her com down and wife gave her, her water pill. (wife was with daughter and she got the pill late)

She is better today, but far from being good. She can still walk, and loves to eat. I will call the Vet Monday and see what they say.  :'( I just hope she passes away in her sleep in her house.  :'( I am not looking forward to her last ride in the car, she loves going for a ride. :'(

It was time. :'( Shaddy took her last ride tonight.  :'(

But I know I will see her again at Rain Bow Bridge.    :'(

She will be sorely missed by Sue and I, but it was time and the right thing to do.

Wow, sorry this day had to come Ken.  Just keep her thoughts alive in your mind and memories and she will never truly die!  Someone is never ever gone until they are forgotten! :pity:

Sorry for your loss.   And I'm sure all would agree that we appreciate you sharing this with us.

I as likely many of us have gone through what you and your family have-- the only up side is the suffering has stopped and the memories are set.

Thank you all for your condolence. I am handling it way better than Sue, she is beside her self.

Seems strange not to hear barking when I come home. :-\

Far as sharing with you folks, you are my friends and that is what friends are for.

I would love another Wolfhound! But, with my underemployment and the war with Bank Of Stupid still going on I don't dare.

At this point I have contacted the local American Eskimo Rescue to see if they have one that needs a loving home.

My favorite breeds are Irish Wolfhounds and American Eskimo. Muff, my first American Eskimo was was copilot, took her everywhere with me in Miss Lumpy. She loved to go for a ride! She went to the Mopar Nat's with me a few times.

Tiff was the second American Eskimo, all so a great dog. Only problem was she got car sick?  :eek2:

First picture is of Tiff and Sonya, my first Wolfhound.
Second one is of Muff at the the Mopar Nat's.

Just a few up dates.

Went to the Surgeon today. He was planing on removing the stitches today but changed his mind. Seems there is more healing to be done and I have a infection?  :shruggy: I will be on antibiotics for the next week. Hand is now 65% usable!  :2thumbs:  I can now pull my pants up all by my self!  :D

May have a new dog. We are trying to adopt Sparkie a senior American Eskimo. We meet him Friday and Sue and I think he is right for us. Sparkie took to us as soon as we meet!
