Front disc brake conversion kit

What would be the best cost effective front disc brake conversion  kit ? car is 1966 charger, currently has power brakes with drums and a single master cylinder.      Thanks

The most "cost effective" depends on what you can find in wrecking yards. The entire setup from a '73-'76 A-body would be the best but they're getting hard to find, F,J,M,R body setups would be second. Both are pretty much a bolt-in.

Check out Master Power Brake Systems. I have used a complete kit from them before and am buying another kit for my 69 factory power drum Charger.

15 inch wheels ,The single master cylinder is going .and the salvage yards around here have nothing unless you happen to be there when something pre 80 comes in .Thanks for the suggestions I will check out the master power brake systems.

POL (performance online) has some "cheap" kits for the front of a second generation, I would check with them and see if they list anything for your car.

Personally I just did the Viper front Disc conversion and the rear DR.Diff disc setup and I'll bet I did the fronts Cheaper than the rear.

I paid $250 for the Viper calipers  (Viper forum)
         $160 for the caliper kit ( Mancini )
        $200 for the Rotors   (barely used) local friend
        $90 for the Caliper lines (inline tube)
        $50 for bearing adaptors (b body drum spindles) (dr diff)
        $100 for the Master  (dr diff)

Well maybe a little more than the rears.

wow sounds like a good deal how big r the rims to fit those calipers.

Another alternative is the Scarebird adapters that allow you to scrounge your own calipers/rotors.
