I have always liked these cars.     When I was ten, my brother in law gave me a ride in this pace car '72 Sebring Plus.  It was that pale lime green with a white interior and top.     He demonstrated the slap stik for me and it made an impression.    It was loaded up with options too.   He explained it was a lot like a Road Runner, but with more options.

he forgot to mention cruise control.. look at the turn signal lever !  :drool5: needs bazooka tips out the back !

When they stop saying this phrase: "NOTE: this car is a 'barn find' survivor."

I'll take it as a nut that wants money for no other reason than that.

to me a true barn find is like the superbird 62 plymouth and hemi coronet we have, the superbird sat aprox. 23 years in an out building and the 66 hemi coronet sat in a barn since the mid 70's. The 62 plymouth w/ 13,000 miles shared being in with hay bails, These clowns find something that has been in a "mopar guys" nice clean barn for 3 years and oh man a barn find!  :shruggy: that Satellite was most likely a "garage find" i have a 69 Lincoln mark III with 54k orig. miles and that is what it was a garage find, the ladies husband bought it new , he died in the 80's and it sat in her garage for about 17 years not tagged in our local town, i always knew of the car, one day noticed a auction sign in the front yard of their big brick house, called the son of the original owners and he said yes it's still in the garage but has not been started in quite sometime, it was going to go up for auction, but we struck a private deal, i promised him we would not "flip it" and it would stay local.

just goes to show the truth in the saying "only the green survive". why do so many green cars seem to remain untouched?

Nice car, but a terribly unfortunate color combination.

A few years ago there was an extremely nice TX9 w/ white interior example on ebay. 400-4V and very well optioned. Not sure where it ended up. Gorgeous car.

471 MAGNUM, i remember that one, it was sweet ! this one would be better in a solid dark green imo. i don't car for the color combo on this, but what a cool optioned car.

Nothing wrong with green, had a 71 that color, inside & out  :eek2:. But it was just a work car, / 6 with 3 on the tree, no power steering or breaks, & radio deleat with only 29,000 miles when I got it. The color grows on you, & don't have to worry about drawing a crowd everytime. I would drive it.

You know, I don't know why everyone bags on the green so much. I happen to LOVE that color. And when its cleaned up nice. Its so cool...

I miss that car... :brickwall: :brickwall:

I like green too, maybe other colors/shades better, but I would take that green too... I don't care for the green tops or interior too much thou

first mopar was a 60 dart phoenix  green with 3 tone green interior didn't love it but could live with it. always wondered about how so many us cars have matching int.colours  here in oz it was usually black or white or tan

What makes it so rare? The reason I ask is I bought one last year and it's mostly the same except for the color, vinyl top, sway bars, and no power windows or cruise. Now that I think about it, that is quite a few things mine doesn't have. Mine's been off the road since the late 70's too.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'till it is.
