Guy's I was messing around with my 69 today and I have the outerwheel houses cut off about a 1" away from the stock outer wheelhouse pinchweld, I was looking at what was easiest, section it or replace the whole dang thing, I would like to replace the whole thing but it looks like the outer is sandwiched between a couple pieces and it looks like to be a royal PITA to get the whole dang out!!, I drilled all the spotwelds off the roof brace (where it meets the top of the wheelhouse) but as far as the other I would like some advice. Section or try and drill out the original and get it out (looks like it would be tough)
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

Indy, I have installed these back before the AMD pieces. They didn't fit worth two pinches of puppy sh*t. Right where the wheelwell meets the quarter panel wheel arch lip. Look for this NOT to line up if this hasn't been corrected. I didn't pull all that sh*t out either, I just welded in what i needed. just because they sell the whole thing doesn't ness. mean you have to pull all of it out. I'd only do what you have to to repair the panel. Especially, down near the BOTTOM at the front. They SUCKED right there for fitment.

Indy, I sectioned mine as well.  :yesnod:
Cut it about where the "crease" is in it, it was a good mating line as a guide.
Maybe I got lucky, or they are made better now or whatever, but the fitment wasn't so terrible. This was the right side outer wheelhouse. Either that, or I was just able to tweak whatever was necessary to get it to fit right. This was right before all the AMD stuff came out, too. I think I got it from Auto Body Specialties.  :scratchchin:

Mine got AMD inners/outter and full 1/4's. All 3 pieces fit pretty good.

Into an E body right now like that. I cut an inch out from the raised edge, I just couldn't bring myself to get into that seam. I did have to relief cut the roof support to fit it.

Ok, Yeah I cut it at the crease so I can still plug weld the roof support to the new wheelhouse, I pushed it up in where it should sit (There is a rectangle just rearward of the roof support and another line that fades out that Im going by) and the fitment looks good on the front and back, but I guess I won't know for sure until I put the quarter in place.

I sectioned mine at the seam that runs through the wheelhouse. It got me close, but I still had to do some work to get the lip of the quarter to sit nicely on the lip of the outer wheel house....

Maybe this will help, maybe it won't (maybe you've already seen it) but I posted some pics of the outer wheelhouse job in process when the body shop did mine:
