Can you get 100 octane or higher from the pump in your town?

I haven't had to use the AVGAS 100 low lead in awhile. Used to have a knocking/pinging problem that finely went away. Evan then, I'd just stick a couple gallons in with a tank of super and it would take care of the problem.
Still looking for 15x7 Appliance slotted mags.....

All my pinging problems are sorted out too so I don't need it either. The 98 octane is just fine and much more affordable.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

I've been running 100 Octane for 2 seasons now... $9.49/Gallon at my local Sunoco station.. But, after burning through $150 in fuel LAST WEEK going to two shows, I decided to go back to 94.... I'll miss the smell

What ever happened to water injection? :shruggy: I remember that as being an opportunity for some to cut down on ping. And the next step was with the right carb you could run water only.

I have read up on the Methanol/water injection kits. I can't go with any type of spacer under the carb though. The air cleaner sits within 1/4" of the hood as it sits.

I have 110 Turbo Blue 4 miles west for almost $9.00 a gallon and then 6 miles to the east I have ethanol free 91 octane gas which is good for the boats and jet ski's.   :2thumbs:  Mid Michigan . . . .
Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .

No one here buying it by the drum then by the look of it.

Today I called the airport in Cameron Park CA. They sell 100 octane leaded on site. You need to pay by credit/debit card though. I was so excited, I didn't even ask the price!
