I asked about awhile back and have had no luck finding the spring. Could anyone who has a 1966-67 Charger Please take some detailed pictures of the brake pedal assembly and the connecting rod from the master cylinder.  I believe the spring is located on the connecting rod between the firewall and a washer on the rod. If possible please send them to my email at : j_g_woods@hotmail.com   I am a truck driver and don't have access to this site very often.  Also am look for anyone who is parting out B-body from 1965 to 1974, as these are supposed to have the same spring.

Yep, I can this weekend as well.  I am not sure what we're looking for here but I'll snap some pics.
I have a few of under the dash now I will send.  Is this it?
Let me know if they are OK.

What!  The '68's have a spring?  I've been driving mine for 13 years without a spring.

the spring pictured above is not a "return" spring....that is a "anti-rattle" spring for the rod

best pics I could get under there...not real sure how much help this "return" spring is in bringing the pedal back....usually it's the brakes & fluid pressure that do the most work. These pics are from 66 Charger with manual brakes

Bryan......Thought you had a bad back ?  Did you swindle the paperboy into snapping those pics for you ?

A383Wing, Thank you for pictures these will help.  The spring is what returns the pedal back to it stop to turn off brake lights. Withoout it it is like mine the pedal weight pulls it down enough that the lights stay on but does not apply brakes.  Hope you didn't hurt yourself and your back feels better.
