They look great! I will. most likely, get the same thing for mine. They are a timeless classic and look great on anything from the '60's and 70's!

oldcarnut

They look good  :2thumbs:.  There was a set on the same color 70 Challenger I recently sold.  Only bad thing was the uni lug bolt pattern.  What a pain to take on and off.

charge69

They make Cragar wheels now (610c series) that are 1-piece chrome-plated and all-aluminum and correctly drilled for 5x4 1/2. Not much more expensive than the unilug version and much lighter and better!

Those are PERFECT, I personally don't like 17's on any old Muscle car, just doesn't look right.
One piece rims that aren't unilug? I'm going to have to check on that!

Steve, I liked your car so much I copied you!

John_Kunkel

Cragars are still my favorite wheel...too bad so many people ruin the look with RWL's showing.  :nana:
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

I am from the old school but I didn't attend all the classes. My preference for the late sixties and forward was the rally wheel from mopar and aftermarket pref was a five spoke grey color wheel that was made by American racing I think. I am sure other makers had that look as well.
I recall a guy asking what I thought about cragars. I said what style? He said you know cragars. Well they are makers of wheels but which ones?
He knew of only one style and that was a cragar to him. I still wonder to this day are these the wheels he was talking about? Did they make only one style for a few years and that made their name? I have off loaded some useless knowledge :P so I have room to learn something new.
I like the five spoke look.

I like the clean simple look. Not so many angles that the chrome glitters.  :o   A good example of why I have a question. A cragar is many styles.

Ghoste

Cragar SS is the full name of the style we usually talk about.  And yes, Cragar the company made several different styles but the chrome SS was so popular that it came to be the Cragar wheel.  If you had one of their other styles you had to give the full name.

ws23rt

Thanks for that. It has been a long time.  :2thumbs:

Dunno. They have SST stamped in the head of the "simulated" bolts and I was out at a cruise once and a guy said "Hey, Cragar SST's. Haven't seen them in a long time."

There. I lied. NOW that's all I know other then their pitted and scratched up cause I took a wire wheel to 'em to get the rust off. Now they have a "brushed" look.  :icon_smile_big:
