I realized after being on here for a few months that I should have made a formal introduction. I am sorry for not having done so earlier.
Here goes......

Hi, my name is Pat, and I'm a Charger-holic.

Kidding aside...... I am new to the Mopar world and have been restoring a '69 since the first of the year. Now that the weather broke and it is nice out I'm not working as much on the car as I would like, but I'll do what I can during the short Minnesota summer. This site has been very helpful to me and I've learned quite a bit, Thanks to everyone!
I live in Lake Elmo Minnesota, anyone that might be in the area and would like to meet up, drool over cars, or drink together should let me know.
I'll try to post a pic of my project with more to come.

SUPERSTAR14

That is what it looked like when I got it except it was covered in yellow primer. I stripped it down and it looks way different.

Welcome..

Please keep the pics comming as you move along with your car.. What are the specs on your build?

JB400

Welcome to the group.  What's the build up plan?

I'm JB by the way   Either name works for me :2thumbs:

Specs for the build........ Well it was just a 318 car auto with air, so the door is wide open. My original intention was the General theme. My son and I were going to build the car together. He is 18 and has not been around much so I've done most all the work. Now I am not sure what direction to go.... Some things I do know 440 727 4.10 gears. I recently picked up black interior so I can paint any color I want. If the boy decides to get involved it will probably be a General, if not perhaps a satin black, I think that would be cool.

There will be quite a few looking at this thread for tractor pictures... you know the common "formal" vs "farmall" mistake.

Hello and welcome aboard!

You picked the best year for a Charger, it's good you didn't settle.

Looks like you made a strong start, hows the condition of the floor and trunk pan and rails ? Mine needed some patches
GL's are cool , though if I was starting a new build I'd lean towards the turquoise color like Twodko's with a black interior for something classic and stylish ( says the guy with a black car lol )

So much info on this site, its been a great help for me  :2thumbs:

Thanks for the open arms and kind words. It is fun and addicting to be on this site. As far as the car goes I'll start a build thread with more pics hopefully this weekend.
Thanks for the compliments on my shop, it has been a dream of mine as long as I can remember to have "my space" to work on cars, welding projects or just hide from reality. Only problem is they are never big enough! My wife was fine with construction but now that I'm in it all the time she is no longer happy, happy, happy.

I think there's a couple of us with the satin/flat black look. It does make it look really mean.

My plan is to go on Saturday morning for a few hours........never been there before......could stay all day....we'll see. Are you going? With or Without charger? Post a pic so I know what to look for. It would be nice to meet a fellow charger freak.
