Looking for a CD by  'The Sub-Mersians'  entitled "Raw Love Songs From My Garage To Your Bedroom"

Also, any of the various surf-revival compilation albums this band has contributed to.

Not while standing, for sure but, do not let me get a good rest for that rifle and just stand there at 1000 yds. I will probably hit you!

Nice shot.....no question.

Offhand shooting is challenging, throw a 35 lb weapon on top of it....

An expert might be able to make that shot 1 or 2 times out of 10.  He happened to do it on the first try. :2thumbs:

Have you hit a target while standing shooting with open sites at 500 yards?  I did with my Winchester .348 :2thumbs:

Oh...c'mon...you'd be able to.  :yesnod:   That's a nice piece he used, great optics, nice day (no/light wind, good light).

Someone with  pretty decent marksmanship skills can do alot of damage if all the conditions line up.

My previous point was it was a great shot, but not crazy great...someone trained tries that shot with that gun on that day and you're gonna hit a few times.  The heavy gun actually helps to be steady up to a point.....your pulse and other small movements are muted by the weight.  But that thing will get heavy quick.

Shoot that distance offhand with open sights, smaller caliber, cloudy day, variable breeze.......you'd be lucky to hit a VW.

Well....maybe when I was a lot younger and a lot stronger. At 60 it's sometimes hit or miss taking a whizz.  sorry....TMI.

Nonetheless even if the guy couldn't make that shot twice in a row it was still "Sierra Hotel".  :2thumbs:
