Wish I could post up a pic, but I happen to live in Massachusetts where gun ownership is heavily controlled. Just to get a permit to own ammo or a gun is controlled by your local police chief and then the state. The state has a list of approved guns you can own - no clue what Colt did to not be included on the list -  http://www.mass.gov/eopss/docs/chsb/firearms/approvedfirearmsroster02-2015.pdf  its so sad....

Want one but two reason stop me:

1) In Canada they fall under the restricted glass just like pistols and can only be taken to an official shooting range. This is because they are 1" to short to be in the non-restricted class.

2) .30 Carbine ammo isn't very easy to find in this country unless you are set up to reload it.

I have a bunch of old Mannlicher Schoenauer Carbines, (2)Model 1903 6.5 X 54 mm, a 1905, and 1908.
I just love the look and feel of the full length stocks on these little Carbines.

But this is the one I hunt with, all bashed up and well used.
Mannlicher Schoenauer Model 1908, 8 X56 mm, set triggers, Original 4X detachable Claw Mount Scope.
VERY smooth actions on these old girls ! and it is a very nice and capable bush/mountain rifle.

Model 1887 10ga rolling block lever action shotgun, a gun that belonged to a great uncle, then my dad, now me.  

The Sig is a P229 .40 stainless elite and is a sweet shooting pistol and edc weapon.  

All my other guns were lost in the lake when the boat sank.
