Year One 68 4 Speed Back Up Harness - Extra Black/White Wire?

I'm trying to wire up this back up harness I bought from Year One.  There seems to be an extra wire and the wiring diagram isn't helping.  It says to connect it into the front lamp bulkhead connector, but there isn't an extra slot there.  Is this extra wire needed?  The "Z" slot shown in the diagram has a dark green/white wire already in the slot.  The backup harness is part number HU620

Ok, Looks like I ordered the wrong harness.  The HU620 is for late production 1968s, I believe I need the L38435.  I should be able to just cut the extra black/white wire off and it just feeds off the other one.  Am I correct? Do I only need the 2 wires coming off for it to work?

The extra wire is probably for the dash Reverse Lamp on later models. Yeah, just snip it off.
