Magic Stapler for grill repairs?

This is interesting. I could see it working on some spots but probably not worth it for the price they're asking (nearly $500). You can buy a lot of epoxy for $500.

I have always just fixed things like this with just a soldering gun and melted pieces back together along the whole seam and then sanded and if required use a flexible type bondo .....

You can actually buy an adapter to use a stud gun as the heat source. We have both a stand alone one and the adapter kit . They do work very nicely.

So you're saying you use them similar to how 71green go menationed above? Or are you actually melting pieces of metal wire into the plastic like this stapler does?
