Definitely some great potential. And a big block with A/C to boot!  :drool5:
Nice score, very nice indeed.
Great to see another saved.

Thanks guys, yes it is a cool car... Forgot to add, factory power windows...  I am sure I am missing other options, but yea, its not your average Coronet...  I have it covered and stored until I can get to it.

Not on facebook but a 70 coronet only page almost makes me want to be...  I might take the plunge...

The license plate on the back was a Missouri tag, with a 1981 sticker, so this car was parked when it was only 11 years old... Thats why the front clip and doors are in such nice shape... little to no dings or dents... I will be tracking down the missing pieces as they pop up.  I dont know anything else about the car, have the license plate from the back... Would love to talk to the previous owner to find out more about the car, but at this point dont know what the next step would be, or how to track any info by an old license plate, as Im sure its not in the system since its been off the road for the last 32 years...  Any one in the Kansas City area remember this car??

:2thumbs:
looking forward to seeing progress pitctures & updates & stuff  :yesnod: :popcrn:

This car is actually an auto on the column, with high back bucket seats, and a buddy seat in between!  My other 500 is an auto on the floor, and I thought they all were until I bought this car.  I have a rear-end, wiper arms, and a pair of drums to slap on it for now to get it on wheels again... Missing drivers bucket, and bottom of back seat, wiper motor, distributer, radiator, little stuff like that.  The door panels are weathered but there (rare power windows) its all the cool options on this car that have me excited about doing a build on it...Im still finishing up my green one, so it might be a while before I get it cleaned up and take some good pictures for everyone, but I will.  The orange is so bright on it I believe its a 999 paint code, go mango was a darker orange, correct?

Great score for the dough, looks fairly solid from here, sweet.

color is nice. would've painted the charger that color, but with the dukes and all........kind of wrecked that idea

Sweet car! glad you found it and saved it!

You are very lucky that the valance trim and the trunk lid trim are still there, plus the wheel opening moldings

My first car was a '70 Coronet 500, with the full side trim, in burnt orange in and out.  Your orange is much lighter/brighter.  does it have a fender tag?

Cool options too!  Good luck with it!
