Need thoughts on two flyers

So I was tasked with making two flyers for the club.

The first is a Flyer we will have on the "Hooligan Hauler" at the local carshow. Now the "Hauler" was an old beater that was given to us and we repainted. We will be using it for any club business until September. At our Swap Meet people will be able to donate money and then be given a small sledgehammer to beat on the car (glass will be removed before hand). The money raised from this will be going towards Muscular Dystrophy (remember Westen?). It's sort of a take on a movie poster....

Here is the "Hauler":

The second is the flyer for the actual Swap Meet in September.

I needed to fill in the black space so I put a "cartoony" version of my Dart in there. I can change this. Also the "watermark" of the program I used will be gone once I buy the program.

Less is more.

Make the font sizes larger maybe, but the empty space is useful as is - it draws attention to the message. When you fill up all the space it can become a mess, not a message (clever, huh? :icon_smile_cool:)

2013 Dodge Challenger RT, Hemi, Plum Crazy
2014 Ram 4x4 Hemi, Deep Cherry Pearl
1968 Dodge Charger, 318, not much else
1958 Dodge Pick Up, 383, loud
1966 Dodge Van, /6, slow

The top one will be printed on 8x11" standard paper. The second one will be large and will be posted in store windows.

Not sure what else I can take out of each one to make it less?

Both are eye catching and would be effective if I saw them.

Does the first one need information about where and when?
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

No the grey one is a flyer that will be on top of the "Hauler" at the car show.

Here's the first one redone some more, a friend tinkered a bit:

No need to take anything out, just leave as is. As is meets the "test" of less is more.
