So I am winding down the restoration rebuild. I have a short list of things that NEED to be done. Now I am starting a list of things I want to redo. What the hell is wrong with me? 20 years ago I always dreamed about finishing my car. I was not this picky. Now I finally have the car done and it looks great. BUt something has to be wrong with me I will never be happy The car will never be done

Apparently.     But asked the right people.  I suspect you are not alone...
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

5 years on my current project and what was suppost to be a "get it running and enjoy it" nearly turned into a nut and bolt restoration...  Due to my OCD I fix something on my Dodge, and then find two more things to fix or replace... To answer your question, no, its never done, at least none of my cars ever have been...   :rotz:

I think my Dodge likes me to have no money in my wallet... Anytime I get any, it knows it and takes it away from me!  :scratchchin:
