thoughts? I thought that this might spark up a good debate. Anyone else see this car on ebay? New challenger in GL clothing. Just looks "off" to me haha.

Ghoste

I like it better than the Daytona Challenger that someone was hawking.

Kern Dog

I'll agree with that, but it isn't saying much....

I'm not fond of any wolf in sheep's clothing.

My thought is scale the size of the flag down and move the letters a little more towards the rear to get rid of the curve they do on it, maybe its just me that sees that... But i kinda like it

Whew!! when I read the topic subject I thought someone was going to do it to an early 70's Challenger. I agree with Skip those wheels are horrible.  :brickwall:

Still it's probably a chic magnet

JumpTraveler

You have to do the pushbar. Ive found so many people making the graphix but I read someone mention that the Valuzets adopted the AJ Thrasher pushbar to save the nose. Throw it on the Challenger...why not

They're OK as long as they don't jump them.

Well at least the first one.

Jump it! Then it'll look good

Looks good. Maybe this will be the "Limited Edition" to the new 2014 Challenger/Cuda thingy?

That and wheels that are closer to the turbines would help, but it still would be a fail.

no secret that watching DOH as a kid along with DMCL & bullet , brained washed me into wanting a charger at a early age   , although would never paint my charger up like a general lee  ,   can appreciate GL  chargers & love looking & reading about them as much as their owners  : ,  must of watched  the dukes on tv  thousands & thousands of times & once i got a video recorder , would tape freeze frame seeing how many different chargers were used when i was a kid  :yesnod:  still to this day , something mesmerizing about a orange charger  sliding  & fishtailing  around on a dirt  :yesnod: granted dukes was childish &  as popularity grew , was geared  for kids ,
think all these other vehicles etc that are General leed ,  make fun of anyone with a General lee charger  , would never be seen dead in  any of these,  don't think many people would either ,   , embarrising  :Twocents:

Like I said, I don't like any wolf dressed in sheep's clothing BUT that looks heaps better than the Challenger does.

Not real bad.  The fender lines are too high and exaggerates the 01 a little much for my tastes.  I'd get some larger vectors made up for it though to make it look more better.

I am not big on GL's anyway. I love factory and RACE PREP. I have no issue with someone painting one to look like it or the wing car either.. I actually like the winged Chally, but it needed to be it's own car. Not a 4-door CHARGER.... (Sorry, I still don't like them).

Mostly I agree with skippy. Hideous isn't even the word. Those sno-flake looking things belong on a BARBIE DOLL CAR!!!!!!

probably the wrong kind of chic though.....the word to describe the car escapes me

I wonder if there would be such negativity towards a blue #43 Richard Petty paintjob on a new Chally.

The #43 uniform is no closer to belonging on a new Chally than the GL uniform is.

Yeah Mike, but we don't have as many haters of ol King Richard as we do the GL....

I'll the same for this that I said about the challenger Daytona/Superbird package:

At least they used a muscular car with two doors. (and a mopar)  It could be worse, as evidenced by the other vehicle pictures that were posted...

That said, I agree with others who have stated the wheels look horrible.

I wonder if they make a vector style wheel for the new challengers? (18 or 20 inch)  I'm not wild about huge wheels but 18 is as small as you can go on the new R/T challengers because of brake clearance issues.

Ghoste

I've seen dealer tape stripe packages that looked much worse.  To each his own I guess.
