Is this how log the nose seal should be?

Here is a pic of the nose seal, maybe someone will know if it should be cut back or not. The runs on the front are from putting 6 coats of clear on the nose to help with stone chips, all of that will be color sanded away once the car is put together, just in case there are any scratches upon assembly it can all be taken care of at once.

i would leave it long then trim it to fit . that was one of the last things i did when i installed the nose

I would have to look, but I don't think I did anything to mine..it was a stock 70 filler piece anyway
