What size tires for 15x8.5 Vectors front

For any of you guys running 15x8.5 vectors on the front of your 68-70s what size tires do you have I put 245/60s on the front and they are rubbing the front lip of the front fenders Thanks for any help.

IMO you shouldn't fit any larger tyre than 235/60's. Some might be lucky and get away with them not rubbing but in most cases you'll find they will.
And to be on the safe side the rims shouldn't be bigger than 15x7.

I was thinking a 235/60 Ive seen several With 15x8.5 on the front just never checked to see what size tire there running

That rim size is way to wide for the front. Consider putting them on the back and get 15x7's for the front.

I got 235/60s for the front put them on my 8.5s fit perfect
