Has anyone else been disappointed with rave-12000?

  Disappointed in that I asked if he had 2 wiper arms for sale. I clearly stated that the clip a ribs inside the cup that attach to the wiper hub must be in top condition as my car is a daily driver and it rains for days in row in Florida.
  He replied he had a pair in very nice condition, 50.00 + 9.00 shipping so I PayPal'ed 60.00 to him. Yesterday I opened the package to find one fine and the other worthless as it had the clip missing, clearly broken off and the inside of the cup missing at least 35% of the ribbing, destroyed.
  I emailed him informing him thinking this was mistake ending with "Please Advise?" and his reply was "Put Locktight on it." Feeling put off by that I asked for a partial refund and was told to just "Deal With It". (He did state he had just found he'd "lost 2K in parts" somewhere/somehow so Carma caught up with him pretty quick.)   
  So I'm "dealing with it" by posting this. He's sold me a few other items and that was all fine but I have noticed he's fast to reply from people wanting or looking for parts but no real input on topics or discussions on non sale related matters. 
  As I care about our forum community as a whole more than getting boned over 25.00 worth of parts I'm putting a heads up out Mike Freed's honor here as a seller of parts. If he does make any adjustment I will gladly report back.

I've bought lots of parts from lots of people for my 68 but I've never dealt with him that I remember. I know about the only places he posts are in the parts wanted section but I probably would have given him a try. Too bad that he wants to justify your messed up parts with him losing 2k in parts, regardless of how it happened.  And to "put loctite on it"??.... That would not be an option for my car.

yes i needed a rt rear 1/4 end cap [horse shoe cap] & one nut,he said he had one in perfect condition 75.00 so i paid him & when i got it ,had been hit & was bent & no nut,i should have just fixed the broken stud on my non bent original. i know money is tight for most on here also,like myself since my health has gottin bad i haven't been able to work for one & 1/2 years & my car budget is very very limited ,so when i do spend money it really needs to count!!!!!!!!!

I have bought parts from Rave 12000 with no problems....who I have problems with on this site was Leonidas Rex. Sent him 265.00 for some parts that were never sent. After doing a web search found out he did the same thing on a Ford site. Mopar Mendy (Gary) I also have bought many parts from. 4 groove flywheel offset was wrong, took it back and sent another one. He evens follows up to make sure you are happy. I know both Gary and Mike are building their own cars...
