Wow, really surprised about the Daytona!
My name is Mike and I'm a Moparholic!

The Daytona was offered post block at 92k + buyers fee to a fellow I know, and he passed on it!    Even with the replacement block, I don't know how you go wrong.

Rare but blah color and not numbers matching...   I guess folks with $100,000. to drop are getting picky!    :shruggy:
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

But Superbirds sold for more?     That makes me go  :shruggy:

That is a puzzler....   Must be more to this story than we know, which is just what we've been told!

what's the vin on the daytona? is there some history that killed its value? i assume it has its steel front end and all, which makes the price all the more baffling.

Is that the car that had the questionable VIN stamping on the radiator support?

Hey Doug, so after it sold it could have been had for less?
Looks alright in the pics...Y2 is really starting to grow on me on Daytona's.

Don't know the timeline of actual events.   I got a "should I buy it?" phone call saying, the bidding had just ended and a ring man wanted to know "do you want it at 92k?"    92k + buyers fee would seem to get you close to 100k disclosed sale.    Anyway, the guy who called me mistakenly thought he was buying the 6-pack Daytona.   Strange there are two Y2 Daytonas there.

It's not the one with the questionable VIN stamp on the rad support.  Believe that one was an SE.

Has the other Y2 Daytona crossed the block yet?

Wonder if the bidding would have gone higher if it occurred after the F and F6 movie came out...  :D

Be interesting how they play up the bogus McCluskey "race car" today.     They were still advertising it as such on-site.
