Hi guys any tips, write ups on removing the dash from my 68?
I did do a search and I came across a thread about a 69, I read that the windshield had to be taken off first, is this true?
In that case any tips, for removing the front windshield as well?

Thank you for your time.

have  a read here ,

as for  the windshield  , same as a 69 , needs coming out , remove stainless trim ,   if its an old original gasket best to cut the rubber gasket to get the glass out ,( with a sharp knife run round  just to the out side of the locking strip , )) the original rubber gasket cant really be reused , as its gone hard with age ,

(((((there is away to get the glass out with the original rubber intact , & or a rubber thats recent & in good supple condition  , with out cracking the glass ,  but it takes along time , & reqires putting out ward pressure to a corner of the glass to start with , with the plam of your hand / foot , after the gasket locking strip has been un done ,  then with a push stick or bondo spreader & liberal squirt of WD40 on the rubber push the gasket lip around tha glass , with continued pressure on glass ,  only do this if you know what your doing & use to dealing with windshields etc other wise your crack the glass quicker than you can say , i need a new windshield   :flame: :yesnod: !!!)))

like i say  no real point cause your going to put a new gasket in anyway  , just cut the rubber ,
( but i done it this way &  saved the original gasket , even to throw it away later :image_294343:  , cause i'm nutts like that for doing stuff there is no real need to do  :icon_smile_blackeye:
