just good old fashioned beef/pork sausages   :yesnod:

Mind you sometimes they're filled with what seems to be sawdust, or at least that's what they taste like. Like the ones outside of Bunnings. But they do a good job of disguising that with plenty of grease which you can smell a mile away.
So if you want to experience a real true blue Aussie snag...........that's where you need to start. (out the front of any Bunnings)

What the heck is a snag?   Some kind of hot dog?

As poly said, snags are sausages. But getting snagged is a whole other story and one I wouldn't advise!  :nana:   :icon_smile_big:

To me, a snag is what happens when your fishing lure gets stuck on an underwater log or other debris. :Twocents:

No matter what version you use, it don't sound like a good thing

snags are the mainstay of Aussie BBQs if you don't buy supermarket crap but from a butcher their great  :2thumbs:  Aussies have a sausage sizzle at the drop of a hat,any excuse.

snags are also what you loose tackle to over here :RantExplode: still its where the fish are

Aldi have got some good snags and the Kranski's are exceptional for half the price of Woolies.  :2thumbs:

But we too buy from the butcher's (continental)

Didnt bbq a snag, had steaks! :2thumbs:

Way to go. Steak tastes best done on the BBQ.  Sorry about the lady friend but I guess 2 out of 3 ain't bad.
