I'm in Macon GA, and I found a Charger as I was driving around. It is on the corner of Russell and S Kimberly RD - behind a small business. If you mapquest Johny G's in Warner Robins GA will get you close. Someone needs to rescue this car.

The front bumper looks great!  Very expensive lawn art... Would love to hear more about the car and see someone rescue it!
Good find!  :popcrn:

It looks like it's been sitting for awhile, either 1. noones had interest in it for the last 20? years, or 2. It's not for sale.....  :rotz:

"It's not for sale" = "Nobody has put enough cash in front of my eyes yet."

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

Everything's for sale at a price. Lemme guess....

"Well, I was asking $8500.00 for it. I did have a guy offer me $2000.00 once, but the hood alone is worth that. I mean, these 'Challengers' are gettin' harder to find. I know Barrett Jackson sold one for over $90,000.00 over the weekend, so this ones gotta be worth at least $10,000."

"So you wanna rescue it?"......

And now we see why it has been sitting right there in that spot for as long as it has. Once the roof gets to where you can gaze at the stars at night sitting inside it, The local county/state Authorities threaten him with fines, then it will be sold off for scrap prices....

Hopefully the bottom is as solid as the top looks.

Google Earth historical imagery shows it there back to 2/27/2007.   Some cars move around that lot earlier than that but they are too blurry to tell if they are the Charger.

Mike DC

Ask him what he would take for it.  Insist on a figure.

Whatever that figure is, you'll get the car if you show him half that much (or less) in cash dollar bills.  But it has to be cash in person.

Back N Black

Its amazing, that someone can have a car sitting in the back yard,it get noticed by someone driving and boom, its all over the internet. People are saying rescue it,don't let it rot away. If someone showed up at my door flashing cold hard cash to me for my charger, I'm going to kick their ass and take their money. :shruggy:

I dont understand this entire thread. Someone owns this Charger doesnt own this is restoring it selling it?  I found a 70 in a back yard in the 90s with a siezed 318 sold it as a donor Charger as I only paid 50 dollars for it.

I'm headed down to Warner Robins for work in a few weeks, I plan on checking this out.  I'll see if I can get more pictures/details.

maybe offer a trade, worked for me in 1992, I was after a original 70 V code superbee burnt orange, burnt orange interior, console auto, black gator grain top, white rump stripe, but had a 69 383 in it, the owner lived in a trailer park and drove the car often, but was not "into" mopars, i traded him even up my daily driven 85 Dodge diplomat X town police car.  :nana:

I live in Salem OR, and I was visiting and working at our Churches orphanage (Hephzibah Childrens Home) in Macon GA. I and another guy from my church were taking 4 kids out to have some fun at a Recreational Place - and I came across this by accident driving through a parking lot. I told these kids that I drive a car like this with a nose and wing, and the new Fast & Furious movie will have one like it in it, and they were in awe when I showed them my Iphone pics.  Crazy

bull

Dane, I think you should buy it. :2thumbs:

Am I the only one who's somewhat impressed at how nicely the grass has been cut around that poor 70? It looks like the guy must have laid down next to it and trimmed each blade with a pair of scissors.
