Sunroof, power windows , cruise, a/c , rallye, P code, 400 4b. I'm thinking around $8,000-10,000

If it was a 71/72 in that shape, i'd say 20K
73/74's just don't get half of that. So 10K

BTW, I thought you were trying to downsize Stu ?  :shruggy:

Well, there was only 405 - 400 4bbl auto cars built in 1974. So it is somewhat rare even if it did not have a sunroof.

And, I am not a 100% positive on this, but supposedly, there was only 16 big block sunroof Charger's built in 1974.

Numbers matching on a smog motor don't count for much imho.  8K would be a steal.

74 Big Block Rallye Chargers are hard to come by.  By looking at the pictures I would say she has had a repaint as the blackout on the hood looks a little off on the front of the hood.  So I would be looking for rust that has been covered up or repaired.  Typical rust areas are lower qtrs. dog leg on front fenders, rockers, cowl area.  With the vinyl top look around the rear windows also.  If all of that checks out I would say in the 10K range.

I love the color combo on her!

Great looking color combo for sure!! :drool5:  but the vinyl top?#?  What the heck is up with that. :eek2:  was that a one year application detail?

The ones I have seen have the same trouble spots as the 2 nd gens.

My understanding is all sunroof cars got the vinyl top.   :shruggy:

3rd gens arent that cheap.......so I would say 8-10,000 .......if its in as good cond as it looks,......I do not care for the 74 model, but some can bring a good dollar still...
Best of luck if you choose to buy it

THIS

This car has so many options that if the fender tag matches up I think 10K is a fair price.

The more I think about it, and noticing all the options it has... 10k would probably be a bargain if it is as solid as it looks... and the fender tag matches. And as far as deducting for a 440 if it really is that, I probably wouldn't deduct anything.

7-10K for a P-code loaded 74 is a good deal. With everything being said, you should also check the rear mounts for the K-frame. They all seem to rot out. This would be a real nice car to drive every day.

BTW if you were selling the car to me $1000 is fair.lol  :nana:

Stu, my wanna bee went for 14.5K at the Kansas Meccum auction.  I would put it at 7-10k depending on the condition would be a good price.

Check the fender tag. There should be an "A57" Rallye code on it (since its not a Lynch car). The next best code to prove it's a Rallye would be V21.

I forgot about that, I really need to try to find another K-frame for mine as the rear ones are pretty well gone..

P code, 400 HP, sunroof, fairly nice equipped... some misterious stuff like never was assemblied as far I know white top panels and seats allong with black bottom panels.

Unless I'm missing something, I'd say 12K tops, 10K bottom, depending on a close inspection could be even 9K.

yeap I know, you'd say I'm byassed, but guys, I'm being honest. a 2nd gen on similar conditions will reach 20K

Heck a 2nd Gen would go for 30-50K easily.
