I noticed that I have about 5 small dimples on my trunk lid. Anybody has these?

what like crop circles ,   sort of a up ding indentation , in the outer sikn ?,each  about 3/4 on an inch in diameter ,  :scratchchin:  had something like that on mine  , could not see it in the original paint , but once  stripped paint off , & hit it with 80 grit , showed up these circles  :shruggy: could not really feel them with your hand either , how the pattern was , did think it might of been some kind of reinforcment discs welded to the inside of the outer skin for the  optional lauggage rack  , causing thes up ding type circles  :yesnod: :scratchchin: :-\ ,  ?   :popcrn:

the inside is solid and rigid.  but the outside you can move you had across the top of the trunk lid and it seems like the top skin isnt attached.

The factory seam sealer has pulled away from the inner trunk lid panel and that's why the panels feel loose, also when you look at alot of the "dabs" of the sealer if you take a skin off they are circular and could be causing your odd appearance. It was put there in the first place to keep the panels from rattling and keep the outer skin from chaffing the understructure.
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.
