Is it Safe to Buy from PG Classics on eBay?

They do business on ebay out of Canada.  I know they are hooked up with BE&A, but a lot of their feedback says they sell cheap Chinese junk, so I have to wonder.  I was looking at some console parts, top plates, they look good in pictures, but feedback says on a lot of stuff they do not fit.  Has anyone had dealings with them, good or bad?  For some reason BE&A does not have these items in stock.

Patronus

Absolutely nothing repro fits or looks as good as OEM. That said, it is nice to have something available. Can't be much money in it, Im sure thats got something to do with it. I've had both good and bad dealing with PG. It really depends of which part you need..They're both the same but I would trust BE/A first.. call him.

I haven't bought anything from them, but do a search for "PG" and you will find some reviews. I'm sure I read that BE/A gets a lot of their parts from PG. PG gets most, if not all of their parts manufactured in China. Maybe search here for specific parts to see if anyone else has purchased from them.

Chippa

I purchased 4x bullseye caps from PG for my Magnums for $134 delivered to my door here in Western Australia.......locally here they wanted $280 so big saving for me

Yes from China......Quality was good  :2thumbs: for this item anyway

Chippa

Like others good and bad , i think its hard for them to control quality and packing  from where they are, only grudge i had was bought all the re-pop upper door pads, never completedly opened them until i was going to put them on, they had packed them in too tight a box and that rear ear on both was damaged in transit , no packing over it to protect it , by the time i had opened them up , way too late to return them , so lesson on that , open check your goods then pack away for when your going to put them on , other than that, i found there  product to be good on most things and they have been helpful when i have asked out side the box when they didn't have too ,

It all comes from China even though they're Canadian based. They sent me the wrong exhaust tips. Once bitten, twice shy. I won't be buying anything from them any more.

On a side note........the service was great, I had them in four days.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

I have purchased from BE&A and have had no problems, good quality.  Don't they carry the exact same items?  I know BE&A has them made for him and others carry them, so why is the quality poor from PG.  Do they have them made elsewhere?  They gave me a very good price and was hoping it was good quality, but FB seems to indicate maybe not so good idea, damn!

Dodge Don

I've bought from PG and the quality is very good on everything I've gotten. Yes the stuff is made in China however that does not mean it isn't good. My understanding is the PG has the parts made and BE&A has the US market license under them (PG) and they offer the parts with the pentastar marks under license from Mopar (when applicable)....they are the same parts from the same source organized by PG.

PG/BE&A = same thing. PG is in Canada and BE&A is in the states. The only difference is that anything licensed by Mopar (has a Mopar part number on it) will be sold through BE&A. I used to think it was a separate process to add the part numbers but, if you look at PG parts, they are usually ground off. Because of that detail, PG is cheaper on nearly every item. Anything without a part number should be the same part. I have heard that Mike Ross at BE&A gets first pick on the parts and that PG gets the "seconds" but have no verification of that.

I can tell you customer service is generally many times better through BE&A.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

GO SELL CRAZY SOMEWHERE ELSE WE ARE ALL STOCKED UP HERE

remta1

brought some indicater housings and lenses....superquick service and i thought parts were really good quality

I checked with BE&A, he want $800 for the parts I need, PG gave me a quote of $600, nice difference. I asked PG about customs since I am in US and they said they ship FedEx and they take care of it.  My experience is FedEx and UPS are usually bad for customs fees, USPS has been the best in my experience.  Have any of you guys in US bought from them and did not have to pay customs?  I really would like to save the $200. Thanks.

:yesnod:Same here, very hard to understand. Errors made! Time wasted :icon_smile_dissapprove:

Just received some parts, good in my opinion.  It's almost easier to buy via Ebay so you don't have to deal with the office at PG.  :2thumbs:
My name is Mike and I'm a Moparholic!

charger_fan_4ever

I bought vinyl top check moldings, door handles and some other small parts directly through the PG website. All was good. Tried calling in an order once and the oriental woman was totally confused.

Silver R/T

I ordered parts from them before but when I got dash pad from them-it was warped. I had to return it and it was a bit of a hassle. Make sure to inspect all the parts when you receive them.
