Just added rocker panel molding to my '71 SE, big improvement imho, it really kind of finishes the car and ties it all together.

Your ride looks very nice I like those mouldings too, my 71 came with a thinner style but I opted to not put mine on after the restro. Btw whats the fuel pump mounted to?

There is an inner "pannel" up there, but, if I remember, it would be hard to get to if the stock gas tank would still be there, mine has a fuel cell in the trunk:

I think both were available.

Looks nice. I took mine off. They tend to trap dirt and salt which leads to rust. Why is the gas tank in the trunk ?

I don't drive mine in the winter so salt is not an issue, as far as the gas tank goes, the stock on developed holes, so I took it as an opportunity to step up my fuel system, I was told, with my engine, a constant pressure that comes from an electric pump is better for that engine than a stock mechanical pump. It's also a lot easier to start the car after I pull it out of storage, I don't have to prime the carb anymore, just flick a switch and the whole system is full of fuel & pressurized.

Cool. I have a electric fuel pump also, but the stock location of the fuel tank works also, and I don't lose the trunk space.

Were the studs still there for the trim, or did you go another way for install ?.

For the rocker molding, I had to drill holes for the underneath, (they wrap around to the bottom of the car), That's pretty much where they are held, then there's about 4 trim screws that snug it to the body, had to drill those holes into the rockers too.
