got stolen one of my slotted exhaust tips... what seller to get from now ?

Yesterday got stolen one of my exhaust slotted tips on a parking lot, and want to get them again At this moment have checked 4 sellers on ebay:

PGclassic... I know they sell China stuff. Dunno if these are from this China provider

Jiema8... My actual ones were got from him... pieces of S**T. Inner red pipe was painted with cheap red paint badly finished. It got burnt and wrinckled at the first ride on highway. Beside this, the inner red pipe was noticeable smaller making a BIG GAP between it and outer SS finish pipe... and wasn't even STRAIGHT/PARALLEL. They also got lot of leaks around.

tuffwheelrestorations ( who is MCB )... they look to be great? but dunno, any bright finish pic makes look great anything.

Rob1426... ( hoover autoparts ) he uses to sell good stuff, I already have bought from him in the past, but he doesn't offer 2.5" tips, just 2.25" ( however need to note, on the resonators kind tip he sells, shares the same kind of chinese seller PN, so maybe he sell the same China part ? ). I need 2.5"

I know Herbs, BEAparts also sell them. Dunno what happened, sometime ago there was more sellers of these.

IN YOUR PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, whats the best but affordable option. Right now PGClassic looks to be a winner on item price, BUT they apparently charge $28 up to my shipper, logic, the shipp from Canada as far I remember. Some others are $290 but $15 shipping

( I hope not everybody get all his stuff from same China seller because if so maybe Jiema8 too, and that it means I'll get same junk again no matter what )

just checked TTI website... $424?  no way!!!I can't go with them.

I likes more the stok look better of the tips. These TTI look nice BUT not a like repro, more like an emulation

I couln't make to install them flushed... I could maybe install them 3/8" or 1/2" more down the valence, but never flushed



Pic taken same day they were isntalled... just last longed a day and a half nice red

I checked out a few photos of survivor and restored cars. In the end I decided to go with the flush fit. The TTI tip is well made as the weight of them would attest. I have driven quite a bit this summer and there has been no discoloration in the red. I used a lubricant on the tail pipe and these just slid on to where I wanted them. I drilled a hole and popped in a rivet (supplied) once I had the final fit. They are definitely a conversation piece. As for price. In for a penny in for a pound Nacho. cheers

the ones from PGClassic.

note the diff thickness on SS, the diff gap between inner and outer pipes ( smaller inner pipe ) and the diff red finish ( jiema8's was a cheap paint ). Also the welding seam on "cone" to meet the outer diameter.

The only ODD I can see so far so good, is the way how they made the outer diameter on inner pipe. They didn't build a cone to meet them like originally were made, they simply enlarged with machine the inner pipe diameter. Not bad but still not correct

Of course they are MADE IN CHINA... You can see a MADE IN CHINA decal on the paper used for protection LOL
