latelly is hard to find ANYTHING in Venezuela. The two bigger local battery brands ( which are usually good ones ) are out of stock on the 49R group, but found a vendor selling this:

Never heard of that brand but it might be a resellers line of someones battery.  In other words a top manufacturer might make it and just put someone elses name on it to be sold only by that company.

I just bought a NAPA battery. The guy there told me there are only three battery makers remaining in the US. Exide, Johnson Controls, and one other? He said they sell under many different brand names due to geographic location, delivery, etc. He also said there is not much difference since internally they are basically the same, considering price class off course. Higher end more expensive battery vs. lower end less expensive. I went with NAPA because it was on sale.
