Hey all, just wondering what a '68 base model Charger, that used to be a 318 car, and now has a 440 with non power drum brakes, floor shift w/console & is in great shape is worth?  :scratchchin:

:shruggy:   Hard to say, $18,000 to $30,000+    Depends on the Condition, any rust? paint, options, interior, any bondo? --------Need pictures.

Not this one, but just like it, solid, car, stripped to metal, new quarter skins, floor pans, a patch of metal in trunk rust free hood, cowl & frame rails. Pretty good interior, new front seat covers from Legendary installed, dash cap & restored radio, 8-3/4 3.55 Sure grip power steering, manual drums, no A/C.

Yeah, I haven't seen it yet, but plan on it, and it's in that range, anything to look out for, as far as '68's go?

Make sure it's a suregrip.  You can do this by jacking up the pumpkin so the rear tires are just off the ground and spinning a tire.   Watch the other tire and see if it's going the same direction as the one spinning.  If it is it's a suregrip.  If not, then it's a open rearend.    :2thumbs:    I also like to get inside the trunk and look up under the rear glass area and all over for signs of rust.    Good luck.

That sometimes works. I have been burned before. Once you place a load on it may not hold. They do wear out. :Twocents:
