Dark Shadows remake with lots of old cars (including Cuda Convert!)

Finally go to see it last night.  A campy remake of the television series from the 60s.  It's not likely to win any awards, but.....lots of T&A and a very pretty girl regularly driving a very red 1970 383 'Cuda convertable.  Typical Johnny Deep deadpan humor and lots of sexual innuendo.  Set in 1972, so the music and clothing was fun to see and hear as well.

Apart from the cars, I thought the movie was pretty flat. Once was enough for me. Looking forward to Johnny Depp in The Lone Ranger though.

its one of those movies you either love or hate (depending on your sense of humor, I guess). I liked it. And as I said in some other thread...Eva Green =  :drool5:

I just didn't enjoy Johnny Depp in it, unusual really as I think he's a terrific character actor and I like most of his work.
Who knows, maybe I just wasn't in the mood.

On a side note, how are your cats doing?

theyre back to normal, but every few weeks the girl cat gets in what can be best described as a "hormonal" mood and proceeds to try to beat up on the boy cat for a few days, then goes back to normal.   :shruggy:

No.

Not even close.

Somewhere near the seventh layer of Hell.

It's not on any map.

Most never come back and are lost forever.

If you haven't been there...

You wouldn't understand.

I hope you'll never understand.
