There is something about these cars i really like, I know it's not considered a real Charger to many, but this is a awesome example to see, still has the original tires on it.

That's amazing. My dad had a '78 he bought new which was already rusting by 1980.

my mother had a 79 Chrysler 300 ( Cordoba ) she called it the queen Mary. my brother got it when he turned 18 and re did the whole car over.. :yesnod:

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I don't see what the big deal is, I'd drive it.  I've seen far worse.

I just don't understand how the charger looked so good in 69, and then less than 10 years later it goes to something that ugly.....  :eek2:
1969 Charger 383/auto
1969 Charger R/T 440/auto (waiting to be restored)
1972 Chevelle SS clone 383 sbc
1959 Chevy Apache short bed stepside
1968 Charger (glorified parts car)
Yes, I know I have too many cars. My wife reminds me daily.

I'll give Dodge a thumbs up for taking so long if I agreed with this statement.  It took Ford a couple years with the Mustang

I would just say hey it's afar and it drives...that's about it.

  Think I figured out why it only has 6,500 original miles on it.
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Looks great!

Cheap transportation if you could get it for $8,001 and you live in the south.  Up north it would dissolve like a sugar cube in your coffee.

I'm sure it was rusting before then; it just took a while to really show.

You gotta appreciate the way it's survived the years. Regardless if it really is a Cordoba or not it's a damn nice looking old original. And another thing you gotta remember is it IS a 2 door Charger.
