I found this '68 headlight surround at a swap this Sunday. I bought it from a local guy who deals in Mopars though primarily A bodies. He said he got a rusted '69 Charger with a ton of parts thrown in. He only had the one side (right side). I have never seen this part for sale.

I've got to ask how much?   Those are something that even some 69 guys want but you can't find them.

It is fun to see this stuff. I was chatting with a guy in the 80s about the 69500s. He talked about a charger in a wrecking yard that didn't move because it was one of the cheap ones.(You know- fixed headlights flush with grill.)

I thought it was reasonable price. It is in perfect shape. No cracks. I just need to wash it and it will be ready to install.
By the way, I am hoping to find the other side and put them on my '69.

I was dumb enough to not buy a pair for $40.  It needed some tlc but I could've fixed them easily.  Oh well.

Real nice ones average $50- 80 each. I think I paid $80 for the pair from a member here.

Sounds about right seeing a scratch and cracked pair was $40.  I should get a set.
