Yeap, he'd like another Daytona. He wants to buy mine, but I'm asking too much........ But, regardless now, it is no longer for sale........... Ray is super nice...... Had the pleasure of talking to him on the phone a couple of times.......  I look forward to this episode. I watched the show for the first time last night actually... Crazy, $3.25 million for that race car !!!

No, that someone spent $3.5 mil on ANY car.......... But, if you have the coin, why not. I can't comprehend to that sort of level.............

Doesn't look like 3 1/4 million to me, but what do I know?  :shruggy:

This is the old Holman-Moody storage hangar.   Behind the fastback Cyclone body is what appears to me to be a DB3S like that.  Definitely English.   Part of the front sheet metal is removed, but you can see the cut of the wheel arch behind it.   John Holman collected and acquired all kinds of strange stuff.

Where muscle is relatively flat, or slightly up, there are quite a few best of the best European classics really picking up steam worldwide and are approaching cubic money.   He paid almost $3.7m with the buyers fee figured in.    That is a lot of beer and pizza, but if he bought it, as Troy said, there must be some meat left on the bone.

It sounds like a very pure car without a lot of drama.   It's not like George Washington's axe where the head has been changed twice and the handle three times.   That is what you run into with old race cars.   Not my cup of tea either, but compared to its rivals, it is less than what a very good Jaguar D-Type costs and much less than some prancing horse cars from the era.
