Something different.....what do you NOT like to see on Chargers, Mopars

20 inch rims and tires on old muscle cars makes them look like "Hot Wheels".....in my mind anything over 15 inch looks out of place.   Leave the 20 inch rims to the new muscle cars....they were designed for them...
(Just my two cents...I now return you to your regularly scheduled program....)
1970 Daytona Charger SE "clone" (440/Auto)
1967 Charger (360,6-pak/Auto)
2008 Challenger SRT8 BLK (6.1/Auto) 6050 of 6400

Brass

Some things I generally don't care for:

•   Luggage racks.
•   Rear window louvers.
•   Mud flaps.  (Especially on all four.)
•   Non body-color engine bays.
•   Missing sail panel emblems on 2nd gen Chargers.
•   (Most) hood scoops on 2nd gen Chargers.
•   14" wheels.
•   Red line tires.
•   Overly pro-street; tubs, pizza cutters, shoot.

Totaly "stock" restored cars, right down to the 14"x6" wheels. I Walk right by them at a car sho

I'm sort of opposite, I walk by Anything that'over modified. Maybe just a quick peak .  I will stop at an all stock and a  nicely modified  Chargers.  Though its cool, I don't like a tubbed car with a huge scoop and blower sticking through. That type of thing.  It goes to far away from what the car was meant to look like.

Looks like you guys covered alot! I scanned thru the last few pages and saw that big gangsta rim and rubber band tires are hated here. I'm not crazy about aftermarket hood scoops or painted bumpers. I believe the chrome bumpers should be left alone, gives any car a vintage feel, unlike the painted bumpers on cars today.

I saw the sweetest red convertible Coronet with some Autozone flame stickers on the hood scoops =  :brickwall:

Save the flame & Nascar stickers for your kids Big Wheel, haha!

I cant see anything to argue about. It's nothing but opinions.

Personally I'm not crazy about huge ass wheels like 17 on up. I don't care for aluminum slots on these cars but it wouldn't be a deal breaker.  I do like raised white letter tires. My pet peeve is someone sitting on the hood or roof or trunk of the car, regardless of how small an ass or how big her tits are.  :RantExplode:

What about a wing?
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

:o   :o  Not even the wing. There's a place for those girls and it's not on any part of  the car.  I'm with Tilar on this one.

I am kind of a fan of good looking girls and good looking cars being in the same photo...
But as Fred said, there's plenty of other places of those girls to be sitting, and none of them involve a car  :D

Back on topic - I'm not keen on giant rims and rubber band tires (on ANY car, but especially older cars), or cars that are slammed onto the ground.

Apart from that, nothing in particular. A lot of things can look amazing when done well, and horrible when done badly.

hmmm, if someone so much as brushes too close to that wing car, most would flip out.....Yet, two bikini clad freaks get a weekend pass to sit on the damn wing????

Hmmmm.....Nope, add another one to my list. Hookerlooking women sitting on my sh*t.

I too hate aluminum slots, but I like RWL tires. I also hate "steelies" on pretty much anything, but especially on a more upscale muscle car like a Charger. Side pipes are another tacky addition best left in the J.C. Whitney warehouse.

TRACTION BARS!!! Anybody mention that yet? They are usually with air shocks and I hate seeing "Face down , ass up" Chargers, haha!

Me too. :eek2:

Though I I probably would not do it to my charger today . That is what we did with these cars .. we (jacked ) up the rear .  To me  , it has a nostalgic value to it.  So I don't mind seeing  muscle cars this way .

Still, I'd rather arse up than nose up. That's just plain ugly.

Seems a lot of Chevy guys like their noses higher in the front.  I always picture them flipping over onto the roof.  :eek2:

Although they look "ok" in the movies, I don't like the big blower sticking out of a perfectly shaped hood!
Also jacking the rear end up doesn't seem right. I like the clean straight lines!   :2thumbs:

Girls with thongs can hang out around or Inside car as long as possible, but not on top of car...  :rotz:

I would never put this on my Charger, bolt on battery terminals. Even if I had a beater car I would not have these. Straight smooth cables in my world. One of the first things I attack after buying a car. Funny thing is that I see these on Chargers for sale in the + $50,000 range. Sign of laziness.
