Things I would never do to my charger:   :scratchchin:

I would never sit mine out in the rain to let it "rot". I would however do burnout or doughnuts till a tire blows. I will never make it so nice that I'm scared to drive it very aggressively. I would never put 14" wheels on it, or 15"s for that matter. (I know, I'm different). Lastly, I would never say no to the chance to snatch gears, burn tires, or outrun a Honda!  After all, we all like muscle cars for the muscle!! :icon_smile_big:   :2thumbs:

74Rallye

Skinny tires and all the cool stuff I can't afford for my Charger!

Kern Dog

No, not all of them. Try cutting corners on skinny 14 inch tires. These cars can be great track cars as well as dragstrip terrors. The 14 and 15 inch rims may be okay for cruisers that are only cornered at the posted speed limits, but you'll never stick to the road at DOUBLE the limit on F70-15 tires.

GOTWING

forgot one, i do not like a go wing on any 68-70 Charger,  :eek2: it throws off the clean body lines, If i owned that 1970 FM3 panther pink one with the white rump stripe and black go wing i would have it removed!  now on a 71 Charger, heck yeah they look great.

Kern Dog

I agree. The Go Wing is not a good look for the 68-70 cars.

1st and 2nd generation , its a no go  .3rd generation its a go ! The wing doesn't look terrible on second generation chargers .But your taking an already beautiful looking rear section and  trying to make it better . The result is something that does not look bad but does not look good either . The wing on the 3rd generation  is proportioned correctly . it belongs there . It make a not as attractive rear section ,look really  good . Not just the rear section  but the overall look of the car .

Another thing that I hate to see  is a tubbed out car. I know ,I get it , its for racing but I can't help thinking about how  much better it would be without half the parts ripped out of it .
Mopars are like the Hot Wheel/Matchbox cars from when I was a kid ...  Bad A@@ and Cool!!!

Fingerprints.  People need to learn to keep their damn hands to themselves.  Look but don't touch is apparently very hard to understand for some.  I'll never go to a car show again.

There's things I would never do to my car that others have at the top of their list but this is all nitpicking.  I couldn't care less what you do to your car, just don't tell me what to do to mine.  I always appreciate opinions but I don't react well to orders.

I'm real good at filling up my car and getting my ass off the lot as soon as humanly possible.  I'm sick to death about the bs comments.  It's always nice to have a normal person talk to you for a minute but some of these people think hey have ownership rights.

Dino, fighting al osing battle. Especially, if you actually do drive your sh*t. People are generally ok and are understanding about touching, but many are just plain ol jealous and do not what to see you having any glory at all, so they will find a way to "Leave their little" mark. Jst be glad you do not have decals on yours. I have all the corners all but peeled up now. WTF?

That's amazing, I'd go postal if someone touched my car.

Most of the stuff here in good with. It just depends on the car. I don't like rules or limits. I will say that I do not like chrome. On anything really. I think it looks like cheesy junk. Now if its polished aluminum that's ok, but I never liked chrome. I say that and I have a chrome air cleaner. Hahaaa

Ever seen a 1950's Mopar without it's "Jewlery"? Looks like a Skinned Whale. :yesnod:

There are only 4 things I don't like seeing on Chargers:

Vinyl roof
Nose cone
Rear wing
Rear window plug

Anything else is OK in my book!
Make it idiot proof, and somebody will make a better idiot!

Kern Dog

While Rally and road wheels are pretty popular, I'm getting tired of seeing them on most Mopars. I like to see cars that are mostly stock with a few tasteful mods.
