Need an opinion on brake booster + mc color.

I just bought a new brake booster and master cylinder . Anytime I replace a part , I will re condition the brackets, nuts, bolts , as well as the part.

What color should I paint the booster and Mc? I feel the need to put a protective coating of some sort. I was thinking of a coat of clear , gun metal color, black . Then again, maybe a combination of of that. Maybe black booster and clear or metallic paint for the Mc .

Just trying to iron out what would look best.  Sometimes you just can't make up your mind.
