Year One posted this on their Facebook page with the caption to fill in the blank....

QuoteWe say to each his own... finish this...

Chris' '69 Charger R/T

JB400

Have you contacted them asking for an explanation?

That looks so wrong :eek2:  The quarters look horrible let alone the slammed look.

nvrbdn

well, i know how i would answer that fill in the blank, but if the car was mine, i would be questioning them as to why they would say it that way? it definately seems to be a negative way of putting it doesnt it.

I could fill the blank in, but this is a family site and I could get banned.

It's true!
Pro-touring DOES look like sh*t with 15-inch wheels!!  :icon_smile_wink: :icon_smile_big:

Chris, sorry bro. That is just wrong what Y.O. did to that pic of your car. Your car IS, dare I say without a doubt, the most photo'd & pirated '69 Charger on the 'net. That is truly a compliment. The caption Y.O. definitely has a negative connotation to it.  :flame:

Wasn't  your car picture used on a toy car like matchbox/johnny lightning or something?    Anywho, this picture is just all kinds of wrong.   :rotz:

Did they move the emblem over to the headlight door too or did you do that on your own?
[ŌŌ]ƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖ[ŌŌ] = 68

Well, at least they had good tastes to make it look like a 1968 grille albeit the Charger R/T emblems are not in the correct 68 location.

After a bit of prodding after I found out about the car they sent me the prototype & the head guy at the time signed it

LOL...how about this one...

AutoWorld used the pic for one of their slot cars.....turned it into a silver-ish '68....Looks like who ever did the green version stole that pic & went further "chopping" it

Called it a '69 Hemi Charger but made it into a '68 BUT.... in the package its a '70!! (loop front bumper)  :rotz:

A383Wing

no outside mirrors or antenna either

Can I ask a favor here? Can the owner of the car post the real untouched photo and the "shopped" pic in the first post in a reply here please? I don't think I have seen the "original" pic

Thanks

Johnny Lightning screwed me. They used my car for the cover, but all I got was one with a lousy Road Runner inside.   :icon_smile_angry:

Christine's Pictures ahve been "Borrowed" a few times, but never chopped up like that. I guess to prove a point about lowering a Charger, it does make it look a little bit like a pregnant whale.

Chris since you use Year One exclusively I told them you wouldn't mind. :pity:

Oh and if that isn't a case for why Face Book is bad...
