Have been dragging my feet for a long time on working on this car. Have a box of nuts, bolts, etc. that I only have 55% identified.  Took the car to a shop when I had the money only to get it back in worst shape and part missing.  Now my brother has been hounding me to get it done since I finished his truck. Doing all body work myself so it is a slow process.  Last weekend finished up painting the engine and I am now pretty stoked about getting this car on the road and enjoying it.  Here is the run down about the car.

Bought the car $5500 in Montana in 1999 when I was up there on the job and brought it home. It is a 68 with a 440 (not original), TCI street fighter auto, and 4.11 sure grip, sure to a gas sucker.  I proceeded to go into paint and body to learn all I can about doing the restoration on it.  Being as they same Y.D.F.C. I tore into this car like kid opening a Christmas present.  Now 12 years later it is no where being on the road.  :eek2: Guess it's better late than never.  Will try to update with pics as I go along. If there is anybody in the Huntsville, Conroe, Spring Tx area currently putting on together I would love to get some ref pics to help along the way.  This site has been great info.  I feel these cars should be driven and not sitting becoming one with nature.
