The underside is done including the simulated dried drops of primer from the dipping process.

Originally the ceiling was bare metal and there was a little surface rust that was removed. I decided to protect it with a coat of primer.

Finally looks a little like a Daytona again, even if it is only for a little while. The lower control arms still need to be dipped in the cosmoline. The engine pulleys are being dipped like they were originally.

In the control arm picture, what are the two on the left of the picture? 4 out of the six are marked with paint as rights I believe and two are marked as lefts. But the two on the far left of the picture are different with different mountings.

[/quote]I'm not sure what those are for. They could be for the original 70 Hemi Cuda convertible you see in the backround. The next several batches of photos are of the engine being disassembled and rebuilt.

In your last post you mention about an original 70 HEMI CUDA in the background but you didn't mention that the batch of pictures is of the ORIGINAL HEMI engine being rebuilt!! I am told that the original engine survival rate in the HEMI Daytonas is way less than the 440 Daytonas! You are very lucky in that respect!

Here is a photo of where the plug was but I can't find one of it installed. Take a look at the heat tube port on the intake. At some point it broke and they just used bondo to patch it up. I ended up getting a different intake manifold.
