Shes a rusty, but mine! While we were going down the interstate one guy really had his head cranked loooking at it, and then started shaking his head

More pics later, it was getting late and we were tired

spoolinhard

On the positive side, I cut the crappy diamond covering off the back seat to reveal near mint factory upholstery! Also dropped a battery in it and it started cranking over! I think with some gas down the carb it would fire.

I found a 69 charger that is pretty darn close to me and is in much better shape and pretty darn reasonable. Think that i am going to buy it and convert it to 70 using this one

So how where the frame rails? Personally I love 70's the best with color keyed front bumpers.

The rears were very crusty, I couldnt justify trying to patch them. The fronts have pockets of rot right where the k frame bolts up. The torsion bar crossmember is gone. The roof has structural rot on the B-pillars. The roof skin would need removed. At this point for the work that the rest of the car needs I might as well buy the wrecked charger. Cool thing is, is that when I looked at the parts charger I got to see a 69 hemi charger in a barn, and a very complete 69 383 mag car sitting beside it, not to mention rows of fenders, doors, hoods and 69 grilles on shelves :o
